Ty Rogers named to 2014 NSCAA Fall Boys High School All-Central Region Team

Current SASA Spirits U18 player Ty Rogers (Jacksonville, IL) has been named to the 2014 NSCAA Fall Boys High School All-Central Region team. 

Jacksonville High School senior forward Ty Rogers has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Fall Boys All-Central Region team. The list consists of 26 players from Illinois, Kansas and Missouri. Rogers is one of 12 Illinois players who received the honor. Rogers was voted to the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association all-state team, led Jacksonville with 37 goals and helped the Crimsons earn a share of the Central State Eight Conference title. Jacksonville finished with a 19-3 overall record. 

He also led his U17 SASA Spirits Blue team to Presidents Cup (IYSA) State Championship and Nationals Finalist in which his team finished 1-2-1 in the tournament in South Carolina with both of its losses coming to Neon 97 (4-0-0). Ty Rogers scored three goals in the tournament and was voted the MVP in the under-17 division.
