The SASA U11 Boys Blue team playing in the top tier of the Illinois Futbol Club's Spring Invite went 2-0 on Saturday. By bracket rules they won their semifinal 4-3 over the home team and then met Quincy United in the final. In the Championship game a Hail Mary last minute attack in overtime. Tied 2-2 at the end of regulation. They scored in the second OT to go up 3-2. We win a corner in the last minute. Aidan "Superfly" Hughes storms into the penalty box and gets on the end of the corner. A defender has to use his hand to keep it out of the net. PK. Joey "Iceman" Seelbach steps up. Goal!!! PKs. We win in 7. Crazy!
