Dear SASA Members:

This past week at our Board Meeting a nominating committee comprised of Laura Calderon (Board), Jason Vlcek (Board), Angie Beeler (Non- Board), Bryce Bilyeu (Non- Board), and David Meyer (Non- Board) accepted nominations for open SASA Board of Directors positions.  We had an overwhelming response of interested, highly talented members willing to volunteer their time. 
The nominating committee considered a number of factors including candidates' backgrounds and trying to diversify the age groups/gender of teams and communities/school districts represented on the board.  The nominating committee met, discussed candidates and ultimately unanimously recommended four members for seats on the Board.  The SASA Board approved the Nominating Committee's recommendations at last night's board meeting. 
Thank you to the Nominating Committee for your time and for all those who expressed interest in serving on the board.  Congratulations to new board members!
