Springfield Area Soccer Association (SASA), a non-profit organization, is a competitive and recreational youth soccer club whose primary focus is to provide a total, well rounded and positive soccer experience for the player, coach and parent.
Exciting News: We’re Moving to Scheels Sports Park!
As Springfield’s community club, SASA is dedicated to serving every athlete—whether soccer is their only sport or one of many. Our new home at Scheels Sports Park offers top-notch, all-weather turf facilities that will accelerate player development.
SASA is excited to also offer unparalleled indoor and outdoor access at the state-of-the-art Scheels Sports Park. This collaboration promises to redefine training experiences for teams, coaches, groups, and individuals alike—leveraging state-of-the-art facilities and our dedicated coaches. Our competitive Tournament will also be moved to the park, beginning with the AGM 2026 Spring Tournament.
Program Enhancements
Preferred field access at Scheels for all SASA teams
Technical Skills Training Days: small-group, coach-led drills on ball mastery and decision-making
Winter DOC Training: sessions led by our Director of Coaching
Goalkeeper Academy: two sessions per week for five weeks (fall & spring)
Early registration for SASA camps—exclusive to club members
SASA Select Eligibility: high-level players may apply for our Select program
